How many sessions do I need?

Your journey to perfect brows at District of Beauty is a two-step process. Initially, we start with laying down the base, shaping, and color in the first session. Then, 8 to 12 weeks later, you return for your Perfecting Session, where we truly bring your brows to life. This staged approach not only ensures your comfort throughout the process but also provides the flexibility to make any necessary adjustments. While an additional touch-up is rarely needed, our conservative and careful approach is key to achieving the best healed results.

How often do I need Touch Ups? Do I need to come "Annually"?

Absolutely not! At District of Beauty, we prioritize a conservative approach and skin health, meaning you may not need a refresher for about 2 to 4 years, on average after your Initial & Perfecting Session.

How long does a Permanent Makeup Session take?

No rush here! Our first appointment lasts about 3 hours, including consultation, brow mapping, custom color selection, and the procedure itself.

Can I swim or sunbathe after getting Permanent Makeup?

Love swimming and sunbathing? While we encourage you to enjoy life, it's best to give your skin a short break for a few weeks to ensure your permanent makeup heals perfectly.

Can I exercise immediately after getting permanent makeup?

Eager to return to your exercise routine? We are with you! While I suggest a brief break from strenuous workouts (about 7 to 10 days) post-procedure, this is because salt in the sweat can compromise your healed results. The break is worth it for the beautifully healed results.

Is Permanent Makeup safe?

Is Permanent Makeup safe for individuals with sensitve skin or allergies?

What is the After Care Routine after Permanent Makeup?

Gently wash your brows and apply a special ointment twice daily for 10 days.
For the first week, avoid intense workouts, hot tubs, swimming, and applying makeup directly on the brows (makeup on the rest of your face is fine).

What is the healing process for Permanent Makeup?

While healing is a unique journey for everyone, here's a general breakdown:

Day 1: Mild swelling and redness
Days 2-5: Brows appear bolder and darker, then begin to lighten
Days 5-8: Mild flaking may occur
Days 8-15: Brows may look lighter or cloudy
Days 15-30: Your true color re-emerges
8-12 weeks: Perfecting session

Is Permanent Makeup suitable for everyone?

Blood Thinners and Certain Medications: If you're on blood-thinning medications or any treatments that affect wound healing, permanent makeup may not be a safe option.
Slow Wound Healing: Individuals with conditions that slow down the healing process may not be ideal candidates for permanent makeup
